If you are utilizing these SEL lessons and do not have a SiLAS student roster, below are a few ways to obtain the information from the student sheet.

  • Print the student sheet as a PDF and upload it into your schools platform or means of communication
  • Copy and Paste the information in a format that works for you to obtain responses from students (for example: posting the questions on a discussion thread in your schools platform and allow for students to answer)
  • Take a screenshot of the page and send to students through your schools platform or other means of communication

Day 1

  • Ruby was worried and anxious. How do we know Ruby was anxious? (Point out facial expressions and body language of Ruby that indicates she is anxious.)
  • How did Ruby overcome her anxiety?


Utilizing the Identifying Anxiety Foundational level curriculum. Provide students with the link to the student page. Assign students to complete student activity sheet A. ***Be sure to set up your student groups on SiLAS before assigning this activity.

  • How did Jack behave when anxious?
  • What helped Jack overcome is anxiety?
  • How did Jack’s mom help him? How can you help others when they are anxious?

Encourage students to write a script that displays appropriately demonstrates anxiety. Using the SiLAS "Create Link" send the link to the students and have them create a social animation.
