Review the following discussion topics with your child.

  • Discuss with your child the different emotions they learned about at school.
  • Ask your child to show you facial expressions for the following emotions: Mad, Nervous, Confused, Silly, Sleepy, Frustrated, Angry, Disappointed, Sick, and Embarrassed.

Activity

Pick some of your favorite picture books. Look through the pictures. Find pictures that show different emotions. Draw a picture and label your favorite emotion you found.
