Your child is participating in classroom activities focused on learning when saying "no" is important and how to say it respectfully.
Definition: Saying "no" means respecting that we have choices to say "yes" and "no". You can say "no" politely and you can also say "no" to danger. "No" means you definitely do not want to have something, do something, or participate in an activity.

Activity
Draw a picture or write about a time you had to say "no" to someone. Discuss with your child some of the situations in which it would be important for them to say "no".
