Recognizing Strengths - Parent 2
Home
Your child is participating in classroom activities focused on learning how to identify their character strengths. We would love for you to keep the discussion going at home!
Definition: A strength is a positive quality about ourselves, such as something we are good at or defines our character.
Here are just a few ideas to help get the conversation started:
- Ask your child for examples of character strengths they learned about.
- Review what they feel are their strongest character strengths.
- Share what your character strengths are. You may also want to share what you think are your child’s character strengths.
- Encourage your child to notice character strengths in others.
Activity
Draw or write about how you can use your character strengths to help others.
